Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. Where did you score your pair?
I spotted mine on discount via Cettire and purchased them that way!
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
How expensive are they?
When I grabbed my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their regular price is $513.91.
Golden Goose sneakers typically range from $410 and $1,700, depending on how customized they are.
How does the sizing golden goose sale run?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the comfort worth it?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

Are they true to size?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
